I've found many 'no random battle' codes on other games/systems by finding a value that 'counts down' or 'adds up' as your char is moved. Yeah, I tried that, but it seems that once the codes are used, the glitches remain even after the codes are deactivated.glitches such as not being able to enter anything from the world map, being unable to enter Bugenhagen's lab in Cosmo Canyon, not being able to retrieve the Huge Materia in the rocket.

That way you could turn off the code as needed to avoid side effects.

Since I can't find such codes by the usual methods, I'm modifying existing codes that work, but have glitches, to see what happens. Still searching for a glitch-free "No Random Battles" code(s), both for the World map and elsewhere, but if Nolberto 82, & Mezmorize, who are much-better hackers than I, failed, I don't see much chance of success. I should be done some time this eve so I can report the success or failure of these codes to you. Dunno yet if they work with EPSXE or a real cheat device or not. you merely delete the code & your save should be intact next time you boot it up. When 'fishing' for a code, it doesn't hurt to try it, especially on a saved game. Any other lesser value, the time bar doesn't fill up at all.Īctually, there are quite a few working codes for this game that have both odd-number addys and values. Second, they work just fine with the value of FFFF. Here's hoping that better hackers than I(which are most of you) can find such codes.įirst.Cloud or any other char so far plays fine in any of the three char slots with its code on. My own searches only hack existing codes that cause glitches. (Takes, a little time, as U know!)Īnyone else checking'em out, please report any glitches here, please!Īgain, thanx to Nolberto and Mezmorize for trying to find "No Random Battles" codes that work on emus without causing fatal glitches. But before I place'em in the database, I'll check'em for the entire game. I've only checked out these codes thru Disk 1 and part of Disk 2 on EPSXR, so far they've been glitch-free. If you use the codes for Positions 2 and/or 3, their turns usually occur in order, 1-2-3, but Position 1's turn will come up most often.

Remember to replenish your magic if using repeated magic or summons attax which drain a lotta MP, such as Knights of the Round, between such attacks. You can almost instantly take repeated turns to use magic, summons, items, etc. (Usually Cloud) It still works when you have no control of who your first char is, such as in cutscenes with Sephiroth & young Cloud. you may wanna keep your most-powerful fighter in the first position. (Note 1) This code allows Char.1 to attack instantly, and repeatedly.

So, without further ado.įirst Position's Time bar Always Full (Note 1) In my search to try to find some "No Random Battles" codes that don't glitch the game on emulators, I found some new codes, and, after Googling for existing codes for the particular cheat device (I'm sure you know which one!) I decided to publish'em here, as I didn't find'em anywhere else.
